• About the role
• Registrars receive excellent support and opportunities for both technical surgical skills and management of a very broad range of surgical pathology
• Opportunity to be part of a close-knit team of three urology consultants.

The team works closely with the General Surgical Department (sn additional seven consultants), and after hours call covers both specialties

There is also the opportunity to work across a range of surgical specialties within general surgery, such as breast, colorectal, bariatric, and benign UGI

As well as operating skills, there are outpatient clinics including clinic procedures such as cystoscopy and biopsies, and ward management of urological inpatients

There is also a very broad and stimulating elective caseload.

Our registrars are well supported in attending courses relevant to their career goals
