Using your skills and experience, you will be responsible for solving maintenance engineering problems.
You need to understand how plant and equipment work, how they are designed and constructed, and how to operate them correctly.
Success in this role depends on knowing why problems arise and how to resolve them effectively.
A broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, is essential, as the role involves checking, repairing, and servicing machinery, equipment, systems, and infrastructure.This is a full-time role, typically five days a week, with possible additional weekend work.
Flexibility in start and finish times may be required.Key Responsibilities include : Planning and performing scheduled maintenanceDiagnosing faultsResponding to breakdownsAssembling and repairing plant and equipmentMaintaining accurate recordsCreating maintenance proceduresEnsuring compliance with all Health and Safety proceduresManaging stock levels and ordering suppliesIdeal Candidate Qualifications : Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experienceProven experience in a similar role / environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to build strong relationships and work well in a teamConfidence to perform under pressureThis opportunity is with Green Gorilla, a leading independent recycling and waste management company in New Zealand.
