We\'re looking for an Assistant Accountant who\'s had a few solid years\' experience in a finance or accounts position and is ready to step into a role with variety, challenge and room to grow.

This is not your average number-crunching job : you\'ll get exposure across month-end, reporting, reconciliations, banking, treasury, and audit support, with the chance to cross-train and build a genuine understanding of how a finance function operates end-to-end.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements, accounts, budgets and process invoices / credit notesReview revenue contractsPrepare, record and reconcile incoming paymentsMaintain and update the accounts receivable / payable ledgerResolve issues and discrepanciesSend reminders and follow up on overdue paymentsAssist with audits and generate revenue reportsAssist with month-end closing and financial reportingPrepare and process bank depositsReconcile bank statements with company recordsMonitor and manage cash flowMaintain accurate records of all banking activitiesOther analytical work as required to assist the Management AccountantsSkills & ExperiencePrevious exposure to a multi-entity finance environment is highly desirable2 + years working in a finance or accounts roleComfortable working in a high-volume environmentAble to manage multiple tasks and still keep on track to meet deadlinesSharp with numbers and details, tech savvy and organizedA natural problem solver, and always looking for smarter ways to do thingsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalThrives in a busy role, and takes pride in being reliable and efficientBenefits35 days holiday including STAT days2 paid volunteering daysLife insuranceHealth benefits cash-back schemeBirthday holiday leaveA monthly well-being allowanceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced maternity / paternity leaveAccess to an extensive on-line learning platformTo ApplyThis is a permanent 40 hour per week role, working Monday to Friday.
