Van Driver / Storeperson

Nelson

Permanent, Part-time (20 hours per week)

In this role you will :

Collect all donated goods and deliver them to shops, adhering to the guidelines on quality.

Assist with maintenance of stock levels this includes liaising with the Shop Manager or Delivery Scheduler, for the timely delivery of stock.

Complete electrical test and tagging on electrical donated goods (training provided)

Check and maintainthe vehicle you are driving to ensure complianceand road worthiness.

KeepNew ZealandRed Crossinformed of any issues promptly.

FollowNew Zealand Red Cross heath safety and wellbeing guidelines.

Assist with work in the shops as required.

To be successful you will have :

A full, clean New Zealand driver's license - Class 2 is preferred

Experience working with volunteers.

Driving experience in a similar or relatable role

Anunderstanding of safe handling, storage of goods and be physically fit

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

The abilityto mix and work with a wide range of people.

Self-motivation and a positive, friendly approach.
