About the RoleWe're on the hunt for Facilities Operators (Rubbish and Refuse) to help keep Nelson's parks and public spaces clean, tidy, and inviting.In this role, your day-to-day will include : Emptying rubbish bins and picking up loose litter across assigned parks and reservesFollowing a regular run, you'll have a set route, making your days predictable and straightforwardThis role is manually lifting rather than a vehicle operated rubbish truck so physical fitness is needed!

This is an important role that helps keep Nelson's open spaces looking their best for the whole community to enjoy.What We're Looking For : We're after someone who's reliable, motivated, and ready to roll up their sleeves.

While experience is a bonus, it's not essential - we'll provide training for the right person.The ideal candidate will have : A full, clean driver's licence (manual driving skills required)Good physical fitness - this is an active, outdoor roleA strong commitment to health and safetyBasic computer and smartphone skills (handy for reporting tasks, timesheet submission and more)The ability to work independently and stay motivated without direct supervisionWhat We Offer : At Green by Nature, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside professionals, expand your knowledge, and develop your career in horticulture.
