About the Company : Helensville Fishery Limited is a fast-food business offering both take away and dine ine.

It is located on Commercial Road, Helensville and operates from 9 : 30am to 8pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

As our business opens long hours, we are currently seeking one full-time Cook to join our team to relieve the work load and shift.

This is a permanent full-time role with an immediate start and a competitive market rate.Key Responsibilities : Examine foodstuffs to ensure freshness, safety, and compliance with quality standards.Maintain and clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes following established recipes and standards.Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment to maintain optimal performance.Read food order slips and receive verbal instructionsClean, cut and prepare foods for cooking.Wash, stock and restock workstations and display cases.Order and take supplies delivery.Serve orders to customers at counters and tables.Cook food of consistent quality and portion standards.Skills and Requirements : At least 12 month or more relevant work experience in fast food industry or restaurantBe able to work long hours and rostered shiftsBe passionate about the professionPreferably have certificate or diploma in cookeryBe reliable, efficient and hardworkingWork well in a teamHave a positive and friendly attitudeHave no drug and alcohol issueHave no Criminal Conviction RecordHow to Apply : If you're interested in this role, please submit your CV with a short cover letter.
