Part Time Cook – Terrace View Resthome, Ashburton

(16 hours p / week, Friday & Saturday, 9am–5.30pm)

We are on the lookout for a passionate Cook who would enjoy the opportunity to share their culinary skills with the residents who call Terrace View Resthome in Ashburton home.

Responsibilities

experience preparing, cooking and serving wholesome sweet and savoury food

an interest in baking

an understanding of dietary requirements and food control regulations

experience managing product quality standards and service delivery

excellent communication skills and a flexible / can-do, committed attitude

ability to work unsupervised and supervise kitchen staff

excellent time management skills

be friendly and engaging and enjoy making the day of residents by serving amazing meals.

Qualifications / Requirements

5 years' kitchen experience and be comfortable working to a set menu
