Learning Support Coordinator

Overview

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher.

English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, The arts.

Position

Papanui High School has an exciting opportunity for a full-time LSC commencing 2026.

The position requires experience, a strong understanding of curriculum, culturally responsive practice and knowledge of how students learn.

You will be working as part of a dynamic team including another full-time LSC, experienced learning assistants and an inclusive and supportive staff.

Responsibilities

The ability to work collaboratively with others to enhance teaching and learning programmes as well as supporting staff to reflect and examine their teaching practice.

Qualifications / Experience

Experience with a strong understanding of curriculum and culturally responsive practice.

Knowledge of how students learn and the ability to support teaching practice and reflection.

Terms

The terms and conditions including base salary for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement.
