Responsibilities
- Lead content development and management across MSD’s digital channels.
- Write and design content using plain English, while applying accessibility standards and user insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and your Communications Team colleagues to develop content that meets audience needs and aligns with MSD’s style and strategy.
- Support information architecture development through user testing and visual presentations.
- Provide expert advice on content best practices, usability, and inclusive design.
- Champion MSD’s visual identity and ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Advanced writing and editing skills, with a strong grasp of plain English and grammar.
- Knowledge of SEO, accessibility, information architecture, and NZ Government web standards.
- Experience with CMS platforms and design tools such as Figma.
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate clearly under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to inform and improve content performance.
- A tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
