Description
The Higgins Team in Hamilton is currently seeking a Plant Operator to join the crew at the asphalt plant.
You will be part of a small team that manufactures and supplies mix to external and internal clients.
What You Need
Prior experience in Asphalt Plant operation, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
Strong understanding of materials, tools and methods used in asphalt production
Class 1 licence or overseas equivalent - WTR and Class 2 sought after but we can support you to gain these
Familiarity with handling bitumen with D & F endorsements would be an advantage but not essential
Ability to work a roster of days and nights (Night shift as required)
Good verbal and written communication skills with a strong team ethic
Computer literacy
Strong track record of commitment to health and safety
