Senior Expenditure Analyst

The OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Expenditure Analyst to join our Finance team on a full-time permanent basis (37.5 hours per week) in our busy Dunedin office.The purpose of this position is to assist in providing accurate and timely financial information and associated processes to meet the needs of the Council and Council staff.As a Senior Expenditure Analyst, you will be responsible for : Reviewing expenditure transactions to ensure they are accurate and performing reconciliationAssist in the design and management of the procurement system and make changes when required to ensure compliance with policyMaintain documentation of internal processes and audit documents to ensure compliance with internal controlsGO and MYOB system support, setup and setting copulationAssisting the Accountant and Group Financial Controller by undertaking tasks as requiredIf you have excellent customer service and enjoying working in a team environment, we would love to hear from you!
