Construction Welder

We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Construction Welders to join our team.

Starting pay offered from 30-35 hourly will be fixed according to the experience for 30-40 hours a week, however, this will be reviewed periodically.

Any overtime will be paid as per the above pay rate.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including :

Welding Roof Components : Perform welding tasks on various roof components, including beams, trusses, and metal roofing panels, ensuring strong and durable connections.

Metal Fabrication : Cut, shape, and assemble metal components for roof structures based on blueprints and technical specifications.

Material Handling : Select and handle welding materials and consumables, ensuring they are suitable for the job and in good condition.

Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand welding requirements and design specifications.

Maintenance and Repair : Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment and tools.

Address any issues with metal components or welds that arise during the construction process.

Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate and fulfil tasks whenever necessary.

Safety Setup : Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when working at heights and handling welding equipment.

Quality Control : Maintain high standards of workmanship by paying attention to detail and following established quality standards and best practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have :

Minimum of two years of proven experience in welding or a relevant construction role.

Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).

Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Pre-employed drug test and police check is required.
