Full-Time 1.0 FTE (40 Hours per week) | Based in Auckland

About this position

We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Kaiako (teacher) with expertise in Learning Support to join our Northern Region and the team based in Auckland. In this role you will be working with ākonga (students) with additional / specific learning needs. It’s an exciting time at Te Kura as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning. In our online environment, we work with the latest technologies and are constantly growing in this space. You\u2019ll interact with students at advisories, communicate with them using online tools and guide a group of students as their Learning Advisor. We are committed to seeing you grow with us and development opportunities often crop up within the school.

About you

Interested in authentic learning, you model current pedagogy and are always coming up with new ideas. You are enthusiastic, collaborative, understand the key competencies of the New Zealand curriculum assessment practice and are committed to improving education outcomes for students. This position would suit teachers with learning support experience in the primary and secondary sectors.
