2 x Roles - Domestic Insurance Broker and Broker Support

Overview

Provincial Insurance is seeking 2 full-time roles : a Domestic Insurance Broker to manage an established domestic portfolio with opportunities to grow, and a Broker Support to work alongside experienced brokers and develop on-the-job skills. Both roles are part of a supportive team that values collaboration and helping each other succeed.

Location : Masterton and Palmerston North, Lower North Island. Relocation package is available for successful applicants moving into the Wairarapa. Salary and benefits will be negotiated based on experience and skill level.

Broker Role Key responsibilities

• Maintain client and underwriter relationships
• Build referral sources, obtaining leads from existing client base
• Managing new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments
• Credit control
• Maintain CPD points, attend networking events, and complete compliance training
• Mentoring and providing learning assistance to broker supports and other team members as required
• Maintain underwriter and industry partner relationships
• New business quoting and remarkets via underwriter portals
• Preparation of pre-renewal documentation and sending out proposals
• Processing and preparation of renewal, new business, alterations and cancellation documentation
• Setting up finance payment arrangements
• Assisting brokers with credit control and monthly statements
• General office administration
