Portfolio Lead - Central - Pacific Health

About the Role

We have a full-time permanent opportunity as a Portfolio Lead within our Central Regional team in Pacific Health. Reporting directly to the Pacific Planning & Funding Lead Central.

In this role, you will manage commissioning contract portfolios with business and financial acumen. Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include :

• Manage the relevant contract portfolio
• Implement the national Pacific health commissioning framework
• Support the Pacific health budget for commissioning by building strong and sound financial management systems and reporting mechanisms
• Identify critical issues for Pacific provider contracts from lifting district boundaries and supporting Te Pae Tata outcomes
• Build high trust relationships and ensure effective engagement with the sector, Pacific communities and wider providers

• A relevant tertiary or professional qualification or relevant experience
• Can demonstrate knowledge and experience in managing contract portfolios and building sound financial management and reporting mechanisms
• Can demonstrate previous successful partnership with Pacific Peoples Communities
• Experience working in complex teams in an organisation, either regionally or nationally
• Successful experience creating a team culture in which people proactively try new approaches, learn and develop and find ways to continuously improve in their area of expertise
• Experience in building and sustaining effective working relationships
