Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery is a special character area school, based in Otautahi Christchurch.

We have a fundamental tenet that the child is central in directing their own learning, so that the enthusiasm and love of learning is retained.

We have students from Y1–13 in our school.

Our core values are kaha, whanaungatanga, tiakitanga, aroha and whakaute, and these are present in everything that we do.

We are looking for an exceptional kaiako to work with our students, primarily in the Y7-13 communities.

We are looking for a kaiako who has experience teaching English.

Preference will be given to a kaiako who is flexible and innovative in their practice, and able to work in a range of learning areas.

They will have a strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and how to embed culturally sustaining practice to support success for all our students.
