Job descriptionHave 3 years plus experience as an Automotive Spray Painter Must have an eye for detail and be able to consistently produce a high quality of work Be proactive and be able to problem solve with a can do attitude. Must have great Health and Safety awareness and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Competitive hourly rate base on experience between NZD $30 to $35 Full time - Monday to Friday (Optional Saturdays) Stable long term employment Tools, safety gear & workshop support provided Positive team environment and career development support Immediate start available Perform all aspects of panel beating and structural repairs, including chassis straightening. Strip, repair / replace, and refit panels and accessories as needed. Use appropriate tools and materials to restore vehicles to their original condition. Adhere to OEM repair standards and procedures. Conduct spot welding, grinding, sanding, welding, and filler application. Utilize knowledge of vehicle repair techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship. Car-O-Liner and computer measuring experience is an advantage. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Panel Beater Strong competency in vehicle repair techniques and structural repairs. Ability to work with precision and attention to detail. Experience in using specialized tools and repair materials Must have an eye for detail and be able to consistently produce a high quality of work Be proactive and be able to problem solve with a can do attitude. Must be able to drive a Manual Car and have a Full Driver's License or be ready to obtain one. Must have great Health and Safety awareness and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Apex Auto Painting & Panel Beaters (Wagstaff European) is seeking experienced and qualified Automotive Painters and Panel beaters to join our team. Vacancies are due to the growth and expansion of our business with recent acquisitions. This is a permanent full time job with a minimum of 30 hours a week.

Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare panels for painting, including rubbing, filling, and priming.
- Perform touch-up work and full paint jobs from bare metal to the final coat.
- Buff and finish painted surfaces to ensure a high-quality result.
- Identify and repair sags, dents, and other imperfections before painting.
- Mix and match paint colors accurately to achieve the desired finish.
- Utilize major brand paint systems and related materials effectively
