We're proud to manufacture premium meat snacks for both local and international markets, and right now, we're on the search for a Crew Leader to join our Raw Side team at our Mangere production plant.

This is a permanent full time role working Monday to Thursday from

• pm overseeing a team of around 20.

About the Role

As Crew Leader, you'll be hands-on, proactive, and a key part of ensuring our standards stay high and our team stays motivated.

You will oversee daily operation of the racking area, ensuring efficient workflow, product quality, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

This role acts as the link between Line Leaders and Area Managers, coordinating resources, resolving issues on the floor, and supporting production targets while maintaining a strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

Ensure correct product selection and loading for each production line and machine.

Set up, operate, adjust, and safely unload machinery to meet production specifications.

Conduct visual inspections to identify product damage or contamination.

Monitor and maintain equipment settings (e.g., ovens, temperature, humidity) to ensure consistent quality.

Accurately complete and sign off all required production documentation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Properly store and care for tools, materials, and equipment.

Proactively identify and report any food safety, quality concerns, or operational hazards.

Provide clear, consistent direction and support to team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Lead people-related processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, and skill sign-offs.

Manage team attendance, conduct return-to-work interviews, and follow up on unplanned absences.

Foster a culture of safety and compliance by championing food safety and health & safety practices.

Be a reliable, approachable leader who leads by example and promotes team engagement.
