About The Role

This role exists to cover a key Product Owner seconded for six months and to clarify, reset, and strengthen the Product Owner function within a complex, multi-faceted disruption management programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring fresh eyes and expertise to a crucial initiative, making a tangible impact across public transport and roading while aligning diverse stakeholders around a clear product vision.

Take ownership of ongoing work while clarifying, rethinking, and resetting the Product Owner function.

Synthesize complex information into clear narratives for a wide range of audiences.

Influence and drive outcomes through collaboration, empathy, and strong storytelling.

Ensure stakeholders remain engaged and aligned throughout the journey.

About You

We are looking for a high-performing, emotionally intelligent professional who can hit the ground running, quickly make sense of a complex environment, and balance diplomacy with delivery.

You will have a proven ability to influence, simplify complex problems, and connect with diverse stakeholders.

Exceptional stakeholder management and systems thinking.

Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information.

Strong storytelling and influencing skills — a "steel fist in a velvet glove."

Clarity, calmness, and confidence in navigating competing interests.

Technical curiosity or aptitude around integration and automation.

Analytical mindset with the ability to connect technical and business perspectives.
