Lead Collections Operations in NZ's Iconic Kiwifruit Industry
What you will do
Lead and coordinate the Collections team to deliver accurate and timely sampling across multiple workstreams.
Plan pre-season setup, onboarding and training of seasonal staff, ensuring readiness for the season.
Manage equipment, logistics, and workflow to ensure operational excellence and safe practices.
Drive performance, reporting, and quality outcomes across the team throughout the main season.
What we're looking for
Strong organisational and administrative capability – detail-focused and reliable under pressure.
Experience in leading, training, or coordinating teams – with a calm and supportive leadership style.
Knowledge of the kiwifruit industry or similar horticultural operations will be a strong advantage.
Confident communicator with great interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Computer literate (especially Excel) and comfortable managing documentation and reporting.
