We invite applications from suitably qualified and enthusiastic candidates for the permanent, part-time position as a Professional Practice Fellow / Senior Professional Practice Fellow within our Department.
Reporting to the Head of Department, you will help support teaching and training within the clinical psychology training programme, working directly with the Director of Clinical Training and the Clinic Director.

The Department of Psychology has an excellent research culture and is one of the top Psychology programmes in the world, since the inception of the QS world rankings.
We boast excellent computing and technical facilities which support the department’s large and varied teaching and research programmes.
Within our Clinical Psychology Centre, we provide a clinical psychology training Programme for postgraduate students to obtain the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology degree and become registered psychologists in the clinical psychology scope of practice in New Zealand.
Your skills and experience | Kā pūkeka me kā wheako
To be successful in this role candidates must be a New Zealand registered Psychologist in the Clinical Psychology Scope of Practice with at least three years of clinical experience, preferably with most of this in mental health settings.
Preference will be given to applicants who can provide appropriate cultural supervision and support staff and students.
Preference will also be given to individuals with demonstrated ability in teaching and training in appropriate areas of current need.

This is a permanent, part-time position (0.6FTE, 22.5 hours per week) based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. The position is available from January 2026.
The appointment range is $75,727 to $137,444 per annum (pro-rata) depending on skills and experience.
