We're on the hunt for a people-person with a knack for storytelling and a love for community.
As our Communication & Engagement Advisor, you'll be the friendly face (and voice!) of Otorohanga District Council - helping locals stay in the loop, feel heard and get involved.
You'll be crafting clever comms, updating our website, chatting with locals and making sure our mahi is understood and trusted.
If you're someone who can turn council-speak into plain English and bring a bit of sparkle to the serious stuff - we want to hear from you.
A bit about you
You don't need to tick every box - but if you've got a curious mind, a way with words and a genuine interest in people - you'll fit right in.
Ideally, you'll bring :
Top-notch communication skills (written and verbal)
A sharp eye for detail and a love of clear messaging
Confidence engaging with all sorts of people - from farmers to foodies
Some experience or study in communications, PR or similar
If you're keen to learn and grow, we're keen to support you.

The perks
he pay for this role is between $72,951 and $85,825 a year, depending on your skills and experience.
