Your mahi will focus on helping young people build the practical life skills they need to live independently — while still having wraparound guidance and support.You'll play a key role in preparing rangatahi to transition into their preferred community with confidence and capability.Key Responsibilities : Work in alignment with Dingwall Trust's Practice FrameworkSupport the Transitions to Adulthood (TTA) Manager in the development of the Supported Accommodation ServiceProvide in-house support and facilitate flat meetingsAttend supervision and Work-In-Progress (WIP) meetingsParticipate fully as part of the wider Transitions Team, including team meetings, training, and team-building activitiesPromote and ensure the health and safety of all rangatahi and staff through best practiceWhat You'll BringCertificate or qualification in a relevant field : care, social work, youth work, or teachingExperience working with young people and their whanauAbility to build strong relationships with rangatahi, whanau, and professionalsFlexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environmentCompetency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal communication skillsA team-first attitude and a collaborative mindsetA full, clean New Zealand driver licenceWhat We OfferA friendly, supportive team cultureEmployee Assistance Programme – free, confidential counsellingInternal and external supervisionOngoing training and professional developmentNext StepsApply today with your CV and cover letter.
