Petridish is a locally owned modern and vibrant shared office space in the heart of Dunedin, stretched across 5 floors of a renovated heritage building. We house over 70 businesses and take pride in the members that make up our community. We are excited to be opening our doors to welcome a new member to our Petridish team in a Receptionist + Corporate Events Assistant role.
In this position, no two days are the same. Your main priority is to be the friendly face behind our reception desk. Helping members and visitors with anything they may need while building strong connections with them. The other side of this role will see you working with our Community + Facilities Supervisor to co-ordinate corporate events, from the early stages in the process of planning right through to execution. This is a role that contains opportunities for growth that you can really make your own, from developing ideas of corporate event packages to owning and having autonomy over the corporate event scene at Petridish.

Please note : This role has a start date of 19th of January 2026. The base hours for this role are 12 : 00pm-6 : 00pm Monday-Friday with flexibility to start earlier / finish later for events being absolutely crucial. Remuneration is based on experience.
