With the range of kitchens and our vast out catering and convention facilities, SkyCity operates New Zealand's largest Production Kitchen and In-house Pastry team, there is an extensive range of opportunities to showcase your culinary skills.

SkyCity are excited to be transforming the Victoria Street Plaza into a vibrant social space, garden bar and eatery for 12 weeks of summer! The Summer Garden will be a safe, comfortable, eating and drinking space for friends, families, tourists and locals to meet, relax and soak up the atmosphere around New Zealand’s most iconic structure.

Serving coffees in the morning and delicious cocktails in the afternoon, it will become your go to spot for morning meetings, festive lunches and a well-deserved drink or ice cream at the end of your busy day!

You will be an enthusiastic, skilled, passionate and professional Chef with a sound understanding of the kitchen, it’s layout and functions. You will also need :

• At least 1x year of experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Understanding of, and basic abilities in using equipment found in the kitchen
• Great communication skills and slot into a team well!
