Truck Driver

Type : Permanent, Full time

Days required : Rotating roster, including weekends

Hours per week : 30 to 40 hours per week

Hourly Pay : $30 to $35 per hour ( Depending on experience)

Some of the Main Responsibilities include :

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to their destination

Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines

Inspect trucks for mechanical and safety issues before and after each trip

Load and unload cargo from the truck

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times

Report any accidents, violations, or other incidents to management immediately

Maintain a clean and organized truck cab.

Skills and experience required _

Minimum two years relevant experience and a valid NZ Class 2 Driver License (or equivalent eligible for conversion).

Good Physical fitness and manual handling capability

Ability to use winches and other vehicle-loading equipment

Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management skills

Basic English language proficiency (verbal and written)
