Truck Driver

Position : Experienced Truck Driver- Class 4- General

Hassan Holdings (2019) Limited is currently looking for Truck Drivers with a class 4License and experience with Truck.

This is a full-time permanent position based inAuckland.

• ? Minimum working hours will be 30 hours per week and might be up to 60 hoursin peak season? Pay rate range will be $30.00- $35.00Job Description- tasks and responsibilities : - Drive freight trucks and transport finished goods and raw materials from depot toretail outlets- Ensure goods are packed securely and safely for delivery- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventativemaintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations,parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• To ensure the truck is loaded appropriately and materials recorded correctly.
• Report defects, accidents and violations.To be suitable for the role, you must : - Have a class 4 license.
• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience driving Truck.
• Be physically fit for some lifting.
• Be able to work across weekends and outside normal working hours.
• Flexible with night and day shift hours as we operate 2 shifts.
• Must pass company induction.
• Be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug and alcohol test, and rand drug testing asrequired- due to the nature of the position.
• Must pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
• Able to manoeuvre trucks into loading and / or unloading positions.
• Completed and manage Logbook.
• Will demonstrate initiative and possess good communication skills.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazardous conditions.
