Project Engineer

Brightwater Engineering Ltd is a leading New Zealand engineering, fabrication, industrial service, and maintenance company operating primarily in New Zealand. Due to a range of fresh opportunities, we are currently looking to employ the following important opportunity :

We are looking for a capable person to join our Project Management team as a Project Engineer. This position will support Project and Construction Management in driving health and safety, commercial and financial outcomes, procurement, engineering and construction, quality, and people supervision across a range of engineering projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in an engineering / trades capacity with the demonstrated potential to succeed in a project engineering role
• Proven ability to gain strong commercial outcomes through the course of a project
• Ability to strengthen client relationships while supporting the delivery of successful project outcomes
• Strong practical knowledge of health and safety in high-risk work environments
• The ability to develop skills in planning and executing engineering projects from a contractor perspective
• Effective planning and communication skills
