Our team in the Waikato have strong personal and project connections in the community and a depth of experience across regional projects including education, fit-out, and land development.
In this new role (starting early 2026) you’ll be a key part of our growing Hamilton based team, with direct access to the Waikato lead and supported by the rest of the local team. This means you’ll be working with really strong mentors, and you’ll get exposure to some great project work very early in your career. You’ll be part of a much larger national business, where we put a strong emphasis on looking after our people and helping grow their careers.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate some industry experience as a consultant or client side, but is still early in their career and keen to learn and develop with the support of our mentoring and career development programme. Perhaps you’re currently an Assistant and looking for a step up, or maybe you’ve taken a slightly different path in the industry and now realise PM is what excites you.
As a PM with us, you’ll get your hands on a great range of project opportunities and the chance to work with multiple teams. You’ll get to experience projects in different phases, managing everything from design to construction and getting a project to the finish line - that magic day when people walk into their new building or tamariki see their new school for the first time.
You Matter @ TBIG
You really do! We want you to enjoy your working day and the teams around you. We want to put opportunities in your way, not roadblocks, and we’ll show we trust and support your instincts to lead projects and collaborate.
You’ll get an excellent salary package but there’s more to a rewarding job than that. The big things include a longer-term chance at becoming one of our employee shareholders, our support of flexible working, and we will continue your professional journey with networking, industry memberships and training opportunities. We’ll help with some of the smaller things too – like lots of fun social events with your colleagues, and company health and well-being initiatives such as our Spring Challenge. Fancy learning basic Te Reo or upskilling around Te Tiriti o Waitangi? We give you access and time to grow personally as well as professionally.
