About the role
Are you looking for a role that blends technical expertise with real-world impact? We’re after someone who’s keen to get involved across all aspects of our 3 Waters network.
In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing our 3 Waters data using our data toolset and SCADA systems, support the planning and design of network improvements, and project manage the delivery of minor works. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Te Aroha 3 Waters office.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck behind a desk. One day you might be out in the field investigating network issues or advising internal stakeholders, and the next you could be in design meetings, working with trade waste customers, or helping colleagues and community members with practical advice and solutions.
About you
Besides having a great sense of humor and not taking life too seriously our ideal applicant will likely hold a tertiary qualification in civil engineering and / or will have prior experience within the 3 Waters industry. Experience in design and contract supervision, and experience with telemetry system management, SCADA and data management is preferred.
To thrive in this role you will be somebody who is solution focused with strong problem solving skills, excel in data management and analysis and will have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a way that can be easily understood.
Needing to relocate? Not a problem as we can offer a relocation allowance and support for the right candidate to move to our district.
