Job descriptionDiverse qualifications such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics with Maths, IT Infrastructure, or related fields Graduates with internship or project experience in electrical systems or automation and interest in IT / OT Professionals with real-world energy sector experience, ideally with exposure to protection and power systems PhD students or graduates with international experience and unrestricted post‑study work rights in New Zealand Individuals transitioning from hands‑on roles to engineering with a relevant degree completed A systems mindset and passion for operational technology Increased Kiwisaver contributions after one year of service Dedicated onboarding and mentoring to support success as an Engineer in New Zealand Opportunities to work with modern technology, AI solutions, and cloud‑based systems

Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing :
- Support, configure, and maintain SCADA and ADMS systems
- Monitor system performance to ensure 24 / 7 reliability
- Manage user access and support real-time system operations
- Respond to network incidents and provide technical support
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers
- Support system upgrades and process improvements
- Integrate data sources and support AI / ML analytics
