This role focuses on cloud infrastructure, security, and the automation of cloud environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support software engineering teams. The Cloud DevOps Engineer will ensure the security, availability, and efficient configuration of our cloud infrastructure while enabling automated workflows for cloud resource management. You will also partner with development teams to resolve infrastructure challenges, ensuring reliable and scalable cloud environments.

Just some of the things you’re responsible for :

• Cloud Infrastructure Security : Develop and enforce security policies and best practices to safeguard cloud systems and ensure their integrity.
• Monitoring & Incident Management : Monitor cloud resources and logs to detect vulnerabilities, address misconfigurations, and maintain optimal system performance.
• Risk Mitigation : Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address risks within the cloud environment.
• Collaboration & Problem-Solving : Partner with engineering teams to address infrastructure challenges, ensuring secure, high-performing, and reliable cloud platforms.
• Continuous Improvement : Research evolving cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions and enhancements.
• Automation & Best Practices : Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, while mentoring teams on cloud infrastructure best practices.
