About the role

The Platform Brew bar' is seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our close-knit team in Kaiapoi, Canterbury. As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a diverse range of delicious meals for our busy cafe and bar. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes
• Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard of quality and presentation
• Managing kitchen operations, including stock control, food ordering and budgeting
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment that meets all health and safety standards
• Collaborating with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
• Providing guidance and support to kitchen staff to help them develop their skills
