We're seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic kaiako committed to empowering akonga on their learning journey.The ideal candidate : Has experience in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practiceCreates safe, inclusive, mana-enhancing environments that reflect students' culture, language, and identityIs a strong classroom teacher with knowledge of the NZ Curriculum or Te Marautanga o Aotearoa (Levels 1–8)Uses digital technologies confidently for planning, communication, and adminHas strong literacy / numeracy skills and experience supporting complex learnersHighly desirable : Proficiency in te reo Maori and deep understanding of te ao Maori.
We're looking for someone confident in these areas to support our commitment to bicultural practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and help guide our team on this journey.About the role : You'll design and deliver personalised programmes that spark curiosity and build on akonga strengths.
