You will practise independently and in collaboration with other health professionals, perform general nursing functions, delegate to and direct enrolled nurses and healthcare assistants and others.

You will provide comprehensive assessments to develop, implement and evaluate an integrated plan of health care, and will learn to provide interventions that require substantial scientific and professional knowledge, skills and clinical decision making.About the Team / Service / LocationOur Public Health Nursing team is part of the National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, and work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures for all) by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people\'s health, focusing on oranga / wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.
