The schedule is Monday to Friday, with on-call services required.SummaryThe Technologist coordinates daily activities within the Interventional Radiology department, performs diagnostic procedures following approved techniques and safety limits, and supports Virtua's mission and values.Position ResponsibilitiesPerform all Interventional Radiology procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, maintaining sterile environments and practicing radiation safety.Use radiographic equipment and hospital computer systems effectively, including RIS, PACS, and others.Provide accurate documentation, review medical information, and verify physician orders.Assist in training new staff or students and manage inventory levels for supplies.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist preferred.Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) and licensed by the State of New Jersey.CPR certification required.
