We're seeking a passionate MRI Technologist to join our diverse and internationally experienced team based in the beautiful Wellington region, New Zealand.

About the Role | Mo te turanga

We're seeking a skilled and motivated an MRI Technologist to join our welcoming team based in the greater Wellington region.

This permanent role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time hours.

Our department features a cutting-edge fleet of scanners, including :

Three Siemens 3T MRI systems

One GE 1.5T MRI system

Our technologists rotate across multiple sites, offering daily variety and the opportunity to broaden your skills.

We provide a comprehensive range of imaging services, including :

Cardiac MRI

Breast imaging and biopsies

Pacemaker imaging

MSK, Neuro, and Abdominal studies

What You'll Be Doing

Performing high-quality MRI scans using safe and effective imaging protocols

Assisting with teaching and supporting students

Under taking quality assurance

Maintaining equipment and reporting issues promptly

Providing compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction

Contributing to continuous improvement and service excellence

What We're Looking For | Mou ake

Registered with the New Zealand MRTB and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate in MRI

Experience in MRI, with strong knowledge of MRI safety and protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A collaborative, team-focused mindset with the ability to work independently

Flexibility to work across multiple sites and shifts as needed
