Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) New GradLocation : Wairarapa HospitalContract : Permanent Full timeService : Imaging - Planned ServicesHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate or experienced MIT to join our Imaging department service at Wairarapa Hospital, we offer a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including : General Radiography, CT Scanning.Your responsibilities will include working in all general areas of the department including, general Radiology, CT and Fluoroscopy and performing examinations in special care areas such as HDU, Theatre, Emergency and general wards.This position is working 80 hours (1.0 FTE) per fortnight, rostered and rotating, there is also a requirement to be available for the after-hours on call roster (once orientated including CT training).

Experience in CT preferable however applications will also be accepted from individuals willing to train in CT.
