Medical Typist

Through integration and collaboration, we - re building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleAs a Medical Typist, you will be responsible for delivering professional, timely and accurate transcription of clinical information as dictated by clinical staff through the Hutt Valley electronic dictation systems.You will work within the centralised typing team, providing a high-quality service to clinicians and patients, sharing the workload across services and contributing to on-going improvement of service delivery.

There is no option to work remotely in this role.

The salary range is $66,611 - $75,628 based on skills and experience, and is pro-rated to 32 hours per weekAbout the Team / ServiceThe Medical Typing Team transcribes approximately 300 hours of medical dictation each month across our hospital.

Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in the health sector are preferred.
