About the Role
As our Product Quality and Services Assurance Lead , in the Strategy and Enablement Function, you will provide expert oversight and assurance across product quality, compliance, service performance and risk management systems.
Supporting the product recall process you will ensure that products in our hospitals and clinical environments are consistently safe, effective, and fit for purpose.
You will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of national quality and assurance frameworks, working closely with suppliers, clinical teams and Procurement, Supply Chain and Health Technology Management (PSC&HTM) leaders to ensure our systems protect patients, minimise risk, and deliver reliable services across the motu. Your work will ensure products and contracted services meet high standards, regulatory obligations are met, and issues are rapidly identified, escalated and addressed.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Procurement, Supply Chain and Health Technology Management (PSC&HTM) team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora are a national function with a vast and complex scope. They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, safety, and efficiency of clinical and non-clinical goods and services across the health system. Responsible for managing and influencing over $9 billion in annual spend, the team are central to delivering high-quality patient outcomes and standardising product usage across regions.
