Accountant

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, performing audits, preparing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and company policies.
• Support external audits by providing documentation and necessary information.
• Monitor internal controls and suggest improvements as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations.
