This is a fantastic opportunity for you to build on your existing experience.Day To Day You WillFormulate solutions to client problems and issues and contribute to building a high-performance team culture.Oversee and undertake the preparation of a wide range of financial requirements of varying complexity, including preparing annual accounts, tax returns and tax compliance.Assist with data gathering and knowledge transfer.Deliver quality technical compliance work and support the development of others within the team in the delivery of this work.About You2 - 3 years' experience working within a New Zealand Chartered Accounting environmentUndergraduate degree or undertaking tertiary qualifications in relevant subjects (e.g. accounting, finance, or qualified by experience).
Ideally holding on to or working towards CAANZ or CPA membership, or membership of a relevant overseas professional bodyCompetent and literate with the following packages : Microsoft Word, Excel and a computerised accounting system (preferably Xero, XPA, APS or MYOB)Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to deal with multiple tasks concurrentlyExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsProfessional approach to work and strong client focusA team player that values input and support from the team but can also work autonomously.Life at KPMGRecruitment Agencies : The recruitment for this role is being managed directly by the KPMG Talent Acquisition team.
