Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Public Trust, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the legacies of New Zealanders by providing expert accounting and tax services for Estates, Trusts, PA / PPPRs, and Charities. You will collaborate with Trustees to deliver professional services and exceptional customer experiences, and you will contribute to mentoring other accountants within the team. This role involves preparing financial accounts, offering technical tax advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial accounts for Estates, Trusts, PA / PPPRs, and Charities.
• Offer technical tax advice and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with Trustees to provide professional services and exceptional customer experiences.
• Develop and mentor other accountants within the team.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and maintain high service standards.
