About the Role
Our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a skilled and passionate team of mental health professionals seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join us on a permanent, 40-hour-per-week basis.
This role is vital to the mental health of children and young people across the West Coast, supporting them and their whanau throughout their journey.
The position involves working within the community and our integrated care model, with opportunities for professional development and role growth.
About You
We prefer applicants with full-time Clinical Psychology experience; however, we welcome consideration of different circumstances—please specify this in your cover letter.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate :
Clinically credible, respected, and person-centered approach
High standards of personal competence and professional practice
Current New Zealand Registration as a Psychologist with an active Annual Practising Certificate without conditions that hinder role requirements
Completion of, or commitment to undertake, cultural competency training
Ability to work effectively with children
Full, clean NZ driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
