Fixed Term-Part Time 0.6 FTE (48 Hours per fortnight) to February 2026

About the Role
Right now, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new healthinitiative : the Integrated Primary Mental Health andAddiction Model. The role is at the heart of primary care within generalpractice and is committed to the health and wellbeing of individuals, groups,and whanau of all ages.
Location and Hours
This is a fixed term, part-time role, covering the South Canterburyregion (Twizel, Geraldine, Timaru, Temuka and Waimate).
About you
As an experienced support worker, the successful applicant will beworking within General Practice as an integrated team member, assisting clientsgain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become active participants intheir own care. All this is so that clients can reach their own self-identifiedhealth goals.The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills to carry out the intervention sessions and the associatedreporting. Teamwork and relationship management are also critical to success.If you are passionate about contributing to a multi-disciplinaryapproach to healthcare, this moment is yours. Applicants will have completedthe level 4 certificate in mental health support work and addiction or arecognized equivalent qualification for this role.A New Zealand current full driver's license is also essential for thisvacancy given the community facing nature of the role and also the right to work in New Zealand.Specific Health Coach training will be given as part of this role.

Salary Range
Thisrole is covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant Collective and thesalary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, and dependent on relevantexperience.
