NZREX Primary Care Pathway Pre-Vocational Educational Supervisor
Location : Auckland Metro Districts Part-time (Fixed-term)
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Northern Region is progressing the implementation of the NZREX Primary Care Pathway,an innovative programme designed to support international medical graduates (IMGs) to transition into Aotearoa New Zealand's health workforce through structured, supported experiences and build a career in primary care.
We are seeking Pre-Vocational Educational Supervisors from both Primary Care and hospital settings to provide professional, educational, and pastoral supervision for pathway participants.
In this role, you'll help doctors develop the clinical, cultural, and professional competencies required for safe and effective medical practice in Aotearoa New Zealand.
You'll work closely with Clinical Supervisors, host general practices, and the regional programme team to ensure a high-quality, supportive learning environment.
About the role
As a Pre-Vocational Educational Supervisor, you will :
Pre-Vocational Educational Supervisors will be appointed across the Auckland Metro Districts to support pathway participants and ensure consistent, coordinated support for the cohort.
You'll work closely with the Clinical Lead and programme team to ensure a cohesive, high-quality educational experience across placements.
