We are seeking an experienced pastoral leader to join our strong pastoral team and to make a real difference in the lives of our students.As a community leader (dean), you will : Lead and support 12 whanau coaches in your communityOversee and manage the pastoral care of approximately 250 students from Y9–13Grow teacher capacity to be effective academic and pastoral mentorsWork collaboratively with students, middle and senior leaders, and whanau to ensure every student feels supported and connectedPromote and uphold our commitment to restorative practice, inclusion, and the pursuit of academic and personal excellenceResponsibilitiesYou will have demonstrated highly effective pedagogy and experience as a whanau coach, tutor teacher, house leader, or dean.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and whanau are essential.The role includes a teaching component.
