The RoleWe are currently seeking a Pump Technician to join our team.
This role is responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of wastewater pumps and associated systems, including UV disinfection equipment.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of pump stations across the district - critical infrastructure that protects public health, meets regulatory standards, and supports sustainable water services.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of wastewater pump stations (including pump lifts, inspections, servicing, and cleaning)Wet well cleaning and wastewater treatment pump servicingScreen inspections at Wastewater Treatment PlantsSewer air valve servicing and UV system checksAerator cleaning and response to pump blockagesCritical sewer sluice valve inspectionsDevelopment and oversight of ongoing maintenance plans and schedules and maintaining accurate records
