What's the opportunity | He aha te whai waahiResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Wastewater Operator to join our Water Services team based at the Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant in Rolleston, Canterbury.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of activities, including : Treatment process assessmentLaboratory testingScheduled checks / maintenance of pumps and other mechanical equipmentOperation of water separation processesFault / breakdown identification and rectificationInstallation of new wastewater suppliesThe successful applicant will need to be willing to learn, have a positive outlook, and lots of energy, as this is a physically demanding role.
You will also need to be safety-conscious, have the ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and take direction.CORDE's maintenance contract covers the entire Selwyn District, offering a spectacular, safe, and thriving place to live and work.
