In this role, you will lead the design, build, and optimisation of scalable data solutions that underpin analytics, reporting, and innovation.

You'll act as a subject matter expert, advising on best practices, mentoring team members, and ensuring their data platforms are future-ready.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and maintenance of high-quality data pipelines and solutionsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineersCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutionsEnsure data governance, documentation, and security standards are embedded across all projectsDrive architectural decisions and long-term data strategyEvaluate and recommend new tools and approaches to improve data engineering practicesSupport troubleshooting, optimisation, and performance tuning at an advanced levelRequirementsExtensive experience in data engineering or BI development, with a proven record of delivering scalable, accurate, and reliable data solutionsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related fieldAdvanced SQL and strong expertise in data modellingProficiency in Python and Microsoft Azure tools (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, SQL Database)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate as a trusted advisor across technical and business teamsExperience influencing data strategy and embedding best practicesDemonstrated commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and inclusive practicesIf you're interested in this role, please apply now.
